How to make the best chocolate chip cookies from scratch


These are my absolute favorite cookie dough, and I love them so much.

I am super excited to share them with you today.

They’re not the prettiest, but I love how easy they are to make and they are super satisfying.

Here are the ingredients for these delicious cookies: 1 cup brown sugar 1 tablespoon cinnamon 1 teaspoon vanilla 1/2 cup cocoa powder 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/4 cup almond meal (or more to taste) 2 eggs 1/3 cup butter 1 tablespoon vanilla extract (or as much as you like) 1 teaspoon ground cloves 1/8 teaspoon salt 2 tablespoons almond meal or more 1 tablespoon almond milk (or other dairy-free milk) (optional) The dough: 1.

Preheat oven to 350°F.


Combine brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, cocoa powder, baking powder, almond meal, eggs, butter, vanilla and salt in a large bowl.


Add in the flour, baking soda, almond milk and almond meal.


Stir well until well combined.


Add the almond meal/milk mixture, almond mixture and almond mixture into the dry ingredients and stir well.


Stir in the almonds and the vanilla.


Pour the batter into greased cookie sheets and bake for 8-10 minutes, until the cookies are golden brown and golden brown inside and golden on the outside.

Notes For the vegan version of this recipe, omit the almond milk/milking and almond milk mixture and use 1/5 cup of almond meal for the vegan versions.

For the almond flour version, use 1 cup almond flour instead of the full 1 cup.

For this vegan version, I found that you can bake for 4-5 hours longer or overnight longer than the traditional version.

To make them gluten-free, you can substitute almond flour for all-purpose flour.

I suggest baking them for 1 hour in the oven or for 15-20 minutes in the refrigerator.
