When you think of the biggest baking challenges in life, you probably think of baking a cake, or a traditional cookie.
But there are plenty of baking alternatives out there, and with the help of a few simple ingredients, you can make a baked zucca.
The key to a good zuchini chip cookie is to soak the zucchinis in the sweet cream sauce, and then the cookie dough should be baked with just a few flourishes.
Here are five quick steps you can take to make a zucchiac that you can eat at any time.
Sift together the flour and salt and set aside.
Make the cream sauce.
In a medium saucepan, combine the flour, sugar, and salt.
Bring the mixture to a boil, then simmer for five minutes.
Remove from the heat and whisk in the cream until the mixture thickens.
Let the mixture cool completely.
In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, beat the egg whites until they are light and fluffy.
Add the sugar and vanilla, then gradually add in the flour mixture.
Beat until the dough is smooth.
Roll the dough out to a thick rectangle about 4-inch thick.
Brush the dough lightly with egg wash and pat it on the back with a damp cloth.
Using a large cookie cutter, cut out zucchees that are about 3 inches wide, about 1-inch tall, and 1- and 2-inches thick.
Place zuccane chips in each zucchip cookie and bake them for about 45 minutes, until the zucane crisps up. 5.
Enjoy your zuccheras!
